The Details
- Location: Lacey, WA
- Pay Range: The range for this position is $27.61-$41.42 per hour with a target range of $27.61-$34.52 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

- Process payroll accurately and on time for all team members.
- Reconcile payroll records, general ledger entries, and benefits reports.
- Review and verify tax filings, year-end forms (W-2s, 1099s), and retirement contributions.
- Maintain and update team member records in HRIS and personnel files.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments and billing review.
- Respond to team member questions related to payroll, benefits, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, ADA, HIPAA).
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and required labor law postings.
- Generate reports and support internal and external audits.
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding processes.
- Support HR initiatives, process improvements, and cross-department projects.

Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Must be able to pass a background and credit check. Must be bondable.
- At least two years of experience in payroll, HR, or related experience is preferred.
- At least two years of experience with HRIS and payroll systems is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
- Strong analytical and active listening abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and related software.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels.
- Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Sound judgment with the ability to independently plan and accomplish goals.
- Proven discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong problem-resolution and prevention skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Salary : $28 - $41
