About the Role
The Mail Clerk plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of correspondence throughout the Firm by managing all incoming and outgoing mail with accuracy and efficiency. In this role, you’ll support our legal teams by processing and digitizing mail using advanced AI‑powered tools and maintaining organized mailroom operations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail‑oriented environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of precision and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Manage Daily Mail Pickup: Retrieve all incoming mail from the post office each business day.
- Process and Digitize Inbound Mail: Open, scan, and accurately upload all incoming correspondence into the Firm’s Case Management system using AI‑enabled software tools.
- Coordinate Outbound Mail: Collect, prepare, and deliver all outgoing mail to the post office on a daily schedule.
- Maintain Organized Mail Operations: Ensure mailroom processes, filing systems, and supplies remain orderly and efficient to support firmwide operations.
- Ensure High Accuracy and Detail: Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail to maintain document integrity, proper case association, and compliance with legal standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially in a fast‑paced and continuously evolving environment.
- Ability to consistently maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
- Willingness to perform general administrative support duties as needed.
- High school diploma required.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds as needed.
