The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented HVAC Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing floor. Unlike field service, you’ll work in a controlled professional environment, building advanced refrigeration systems from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Assembly: Mount refrigeration components and route electrical wiring.
- Pipework: Cut, fit, and install copper piping for heat pump systems.
- Precision Joining: Perform high-quality Oxy-Acetylene brazing and soldering.
- Electrical Prepping: Prepare and install electrical components based on system specs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand tools and a solid understanding of refrigeration assembly.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active on the manufacturing floor.
Preferred "Plus" Skills:
- Active EPA Certification (Section 608).
- Prior experience with Oxy-Acetylene brazing.
- Electrical wiring or HVAC controls experience.
