Survey Technician

Position Overview:

NXB Geo is a full-service Surveying and Engineering firm with office locations in McCall and Nampa, ID that is looking to add another member to our already stellar team. We are currently recruiting a Survey Technician to work from our Nampa, ID office.

NXB Geo specializes in construction survey, especially in very high-profile heavy highway and infrastructure projects, as well as commercial construction, with the occasional Boundary or Topographic survey in the mix. As such, normal tasks for the survey technician would include but not be limited to:

· Daily setup and breakdown of survey equipment

· Prepare equipment and supplies for the day.

· Driving wooden hubs and lath into the ground on construction sites.

· Operating standard hand tools

· Operating level rods

· Maintaining crew truck cleanliness

· Perform tasks as directed by Survey Crew Chief

Requirements:

· 1-2 years of Survey experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.

· Good organizational skills

· Punctuality and reliability

· Able to follow directions.

· Physically capable of enduring a full day working on a survey crew.

· Willing to work in inclement weather and all types of terrain.

Salary/Benefits:

· $20-25 HR DOE

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 1 year (Preferred)
