Survey Technician
We are seeking a skilled Survey Technician to join our team in the Engineering Division at Ada County Highway District in Boise, Idaho.
Job Summary:
The Survey Technician will perform entry-level technical work in field surveying, assisting in property boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction staking, and cross sectioning.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in property boundary surveys, topo surveys, construction staking, and cross sectioning
- Search for property pins, survey monuments, set appraisal stakes and lath for use in right of way acquisitions
- Set stakes and lath for construction of highway/road projects
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of land survey techniques
- Able to lift equipment weighing approximately 50 lbs. and occasionally 100 lbs.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Experience in survey work is preferred
- Able to follow written and verbal directions
- A valid Idaho Driver's License

Compensation:
$18.90 - $21.70 per hour
