Payroll Technician
- Calculates, processes, and enters payroll transactions via HRIS and Time and Attendance Systems. Runs and analyzes reports from two different systems.
- Edits Payroll.
- Prepares source documents necessary for the accurate and timely production of employee routine payroll, bonus, retroactive adjustments, vacation, retirement, sick leave payout, and disability.
- Interacts with all levels of staff with payroll-related matters.
- 3 years' experience in the payroll department, preferably in gov agency, university setting or large business office.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Must have a flexible schedule for evening hours Mon & Tuesday (OT available)
- preferred: experience with Banner (HRIS) and in4 (payroll software)
- Strong interpersonal skills, handling call volume with department leaders
