Position Overview
We are seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of federal IT projects, ensuring they meet client expectations, timelines, and budget. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong technical acumen, experience managing cross-functional teams, and a deep understanding of the federal IT landscape. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing projects that include AI, automation, and low-code platform implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee full project lifecycle from initiation through deployment and sustainment.
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, technical teams, and stakeholders.
- Lead Agile ceremonies and manage backlog, sprint planning, and status reporting.
- Identify risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure projects align with technical and business requirements, federal standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Foster a high-performance team culture through mentoring and accountability.
- Track project performance, budget, and deliverables using project management tools.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5 years of experience managing technical projects in federal or enterprise environments.
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent Agile certification required.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC), Agile, and DevSecOps.
- Experience with low-code platforms (e.g.Salesforce).
- Familiarity with AI integration and automation within enterprise applications.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and shifting priorities.
