As a Senior ServiceNow Portal Developer at Nuvitek, you will play a vital role as you partner closely with an enthusiastic team of developers and engineers working in an Agile environment to modernize our customer's applications using low-code solutions and enhance the ServiceNow practice area for our organization.

In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to Nuvitek's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to adapt to dynamic environments rapidly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop mobile and web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 based on site maps, wireframes, and visual designs.
- Create custom components and workspace experiences to improve the experience of agents and fulfillers.
- Lead design review and client requirements sessions to ensure the final product meets the client's expectations.
- Work collaboratively with project managers and other developers to understand, estimate, prioritize, and implement requests for development and maintenance.
- Code, debug, document, deploy, and maintain our products and software efficiently and effectively.
- Must have experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Information Technology or related discipline experience.
- 3 year’s experience with ServiceNow Service Portal (HTML, CSS, AngularJS, SASS, Bootstrap, Authentication)
- 4 year’s experience with ServiceNow Application Development (Scoped Applications)
- A strong grasp of building user interfaces that are both performant and scalable, even with large amounts of data.
- A keen eye for design aesthetics, and a commitment to engineering excellence.
- Hands on experience in Java or any object-oriented language and SQL programming.
- Able to communicate (verbal and written) clearly and concisely, tailoring the communication appropriately to the intended audience.
- ServiceNow Certifications CAD, CSA, ServiceNow Portal Fundamentals, ServiceNow Portal Advanced
- US Citizen with the ability to attain public trust clearance.
Highly Desired Qualifications:
- Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Experience in handling multiple tasks, changing priorities, and timely action; experience with Agile methodologies and Agile project management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and organizational and time management skills.
- Experience across the Software Delivery Life Cycle working to understand Business Requirements, Design Solutions, Build and Test Capabilities, Train Users, and Deploy Solutions
- Experience working with the U.S. Federal Government and its agencies.
- Remote possible, but hybrid role preferred
