Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technicians (Entry Level and Experienced)
Job description
Nutting Engineers of Florida, Inc. (NE), is seeking a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician(s) for challenging work in geotechnical engineering construction materials testing (CMT), at our Martin County to Indian River County project sites.
Work includes:
Training and mentoring will be provided as necessary for entry level candidate to develop skills to perform the tasks listed below. Experience in the following areas for experienced candidates a plus:
- Perform soil density testing using a nuclear gauge.
- Perform concrete field tests and prepare compression test specimens.
- Observe site demucking, backfill placement, and compaction.
- Will interact with client representatives (supervisors, foremen, project managers, engineers, etc.) at project sites.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
For entry level candidates - Construction Experience is a plus.
For experienced candidates - Experience in Construction Materials Testing, ACI Concrete Field Technician Level 1, Troxler Certified, Earth Work level 1 along with other ACI, DOT certifications including CTQP Asphalt Paving Level-1, CTQP Asphalt Plant Level-1. Structural Inspection a plus.
Compensation will be in alignment with experience level
Company vehicle will be provided upon confirmation of license and driving record.
