What the Job Is Really Like
No two days are the same—some projects are completed in a single day, while others keep you on-site for several weeks.
You’ll meet your team at job sites across Florida and work together to test fire hose, ladders, pumps, nozzles, aerials, and hard suction. Travel is a regular part of the job, and some projects require overnight stays.
Travel, flexibility, and reliability are essential in this role.
What You’ll Do
- Unroll, roll, and load fire hose
- Test fire hose, ladders, pumps, nozzles, aerials, and hard suction
- Load, unload, and organize equipment and materials
- Assist with setting up and breaking down job sites
- Spot trucks and trailers safely
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work as part of a team to complete jobs efficiently and safely
- Follow instructions and safety procedures at all times

What We’re Looking For
- Dependable and punctual
- Willing to work outdoors in Florida weather (heat, humidity, rain)
- Able to perform physically demanding work
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
- Willing to travel regularly and stay overnight when required
- Able to follow instructions and communicate effectively
- Basic math and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license or ID and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a drug screening
Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, and lift throughout the day
- Work in outdoor conditions including heat, humidity, and occasional cold
