Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for an NDT Technician with the ability to travel to complex client sites and field deployments. Responsibilities include executing highly precise nondestructive testing using techniques such as Mass Spectrometer Leak Testing (MSLT), Pressure Change Measurement Testing (PCMT), Liquid Penetrant Testing (PT), and Visual Testing (VT). The technician will actively contribute to the preparation and execution of NQA-1 compliant testing procedures while adhering strictly to LTS’s elite safety, operational, and quality compliance standards.
Requirements
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in MSLT, PCMT, PT, and VT nondestructive testing techniques.
- Quality & Safety: Deep knowledge of Quality Control practices, NQA-1/aerospace compliance standards, and a strong understanding of safety protocols in high-hazard NDT environments.
- Operational Execution: Extreme attention to detail, the ability to follow rigorous testing procedures accurately, and experience inspecting and addressing material corrosion.
- Certifications: Current or prior certifications to ASNT or ANSI standards are highly desirable.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training, technical degrees, or certifications in NDT methods are a strong plus.

Compliance & Federal Requirements
- Export Control: Due to the nature of our defense and aerospace contracts, candidates must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (e.g., U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident).
- Clearance & Background: Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive FCRA background check and meet continuous Fitness for Duty standards. The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance is a plus.
