About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for the organization and management of all warehouse locations in NJ that contains raw materials, components, and finished goods. This includes the receiving, proper storage, and staging of raw materials and components for the operational floor and the distribution of finished good products to customers. Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and personnel across the warehouse teams which include, but not limited to, loading/unloading, receiving, sorting, put away, picking, and inventory control.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, define problems, develop solutions, test solutions, implement, stabilize, and sustain gains while engaging and coaching team members.
- Keep up to date with all federal and state safety regulations.
- Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system.
- Manage Distribution warehouse and direct all distribution activities to effectively meet shipping requirements.
- Communicate with internal customers and attend daily tactical meetings
- Manage production schedule in coordination with planning team.
- Interface closely with other cross-functional groups such as Blending, Engineering, Quality, Packaging, Procurement, and Planning.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the organization by maintaining regular, on-site attendance, act in a reliable manner, and follow through on responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required. College Degree Preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervision / management experience for a team of 10 employees at multiple Warehouse locations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to be able to effectively interface with all levels of personnel.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond with a sense of urgency.
- Knowledge of industry cGMPs and lean manufacturing principles
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Deacom or relevant ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
