Responsibilities: - Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security of
property
- Monitor entrances/exits and maintain visitor access
logs
- Provide a visible security presence to deter
unauthorized activity
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies according
to company procedures
- Document observations, incidents, and daily activities
in written reports
- Identify safety hazards and escalate issues when
necessary
- Assist employees, visitors, and clients courteously and
professionally
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel
as required
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid security guard license/registration (state
requirement)
- Previous security, law enforcement, or military
background preferred
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to patrol and stand for extended
periods
