Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. The nurse will provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care during the labor, delivery, and postpartum phases in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Schedule
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Day and night rotation
- No radius rule; travel and local rates are the same
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. The nurse will provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care during the labor, delivery, and postpartum phases in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and support mothers and infants during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and respond to emergent situations
- Administer medications and operate monitoring equipment in accordance with protocols
- Document care accurately using electronic medical record systems
- Provide education and support for new mothers, including breastfeeding guidance
- Active New York RN license at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience, including postpartum care
- Travel nursing experience preferred
- Certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Certifications preferred: NRP, NIHSS
- Experience with electronic medical records (EPIC strongly preferred)
- Compliance completed two Fridays prior to start date
- Includes 10-panel drug screen (within 30 days of start), education verification, pre-start testing, and online learning modules
- No more than 7 days of requested time off approved
- Compensation: $130,000 – $140,000 annually
