Overview
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: WI
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in overseeing and delivering high-quality care to residents within our senior living community. This position is responsible for clinical assessments, medication management, care planning, and regulatory compliance under applicable state regulations. The RN collaborates with caregivers, physicians, families, and leadership to ensure the health, safety, and dignity of all residents.
This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to supporting residents with varying physical, mental, and behavioral health needs. The RN also serves as a mentor and resource for care staff and supports training, delegation, and quality assurance efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and develop individualized service plans
- Asist with training caregivers, including med delegation as needed
- Asisst with Mock Surveys
- Delegate and train unlicensed care staff in medication administration and nursing tasks (per state guidelines)
- Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in health status
- Ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and in compliance with DHS regulations and community policies
- Participate in care team meetings, staff education, and quality assurance activities
- Communicate with families, providers, and outside agencies regarding resident care
- Support infection control practices and respond to emergencies as needed
- Assist in maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin
- Experience in senior living, long-term care
- Strong understanding of state regulations (e.g., DHS 83, DHS 88, DHS 89)
- Ability to delegate, train, and lead caregivers and med techs
- Excellent assessment, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Compassionate, team-oriented, and resident-focused
Pay is based on experience and certifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
