Position Overview
The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and purchasing vehicles from private sellers and online marketplaces. This role plays a key part in helping our dealerships maintain a strong inventory by proactively engaging with individuals looking to sell their vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Purchase vehicles through Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer (ICO).
- Source vehicles for dealership inventory through private party sales.
- Communicate with individuals selling their vehicles on third-party websites such as Autotrader, Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist.
- Build rapport with vehicle owners and guide them through the selling process.
- Schedule appointments for vehicle owners to visit the showroom and sell their vehicles.
- Provide a professional and positive customer experience throughout every interaction.
Education & Skill Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Sales experience is a plus.
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
