DarrowEverett LLP is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our growing Practice. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for attorneys, paralegals, and other legal professionals, partnering closely with hiring managers and Human Resources to attract, evaluate, and onboard top talent. This role plays a critical part in building a high-performing workforce by delivering an efficient, compliant, and candidate-focused hiring experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment process across multiple roles and departments.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, role requirements, and team dynamics.
- Ensure all hiring activities align with organizational goals, policies, and employment laws.
- Sourcing and attracting candidates via job postings, utilizing social media, and conducting passive outreach.
- Screening and performing multiple interview stages.
- Conducting evaluations, such as skills assessments, i.e. DISC Assessments.
- Coordinating and executing employment offers, including drafting documentation and negotiating salary and benefits.
- Initial onboarding preparation, orientation, and training to settle the new employee.
- Maintain strong relationships with legal search firms, law schools, and professional networks.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruitment metrics.
- Monitor market trends and provide competitive intelligence on compensation, benefits, and hiring strategies.
- Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, and candidate satisfaction.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes and candidate experience.
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing strategies.
- Support evolving business needs by taking on additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; a HR certification is a plus.
- 3 years of legal recruiting experience, either in-house or with a legal staffing/recruiting agency.
- Strong understanding of the legal market and attorney career paths.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ATS platforms and recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter.).
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality candidates and building strong talent pipelines.
