- The work schedule has flexible start times – generally between 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM (e.g., 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM; 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM).

- We are seeking three meticulous and efficient Mail & Claims Processing Clerks to support our client's vital operations in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and timely processing of medical, dental, and vision claims. This is a fast-paced, production-oriented environment where your ability to manage time effectively, maintain consistency, and handle data with precision will be crucial. You will…
- Perform data entry (also known as indexing) of information from medical, dental, and vision claims into the system (LuminX).
- Handle mailroom duties including opening mail, scanning documents, adding postage, and distributing mail to designated system mailboxes.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within tight turnaround times (typically 24-48 hours).
- Meet established production and quality standards.
- Maintain excellent time management and stay on task to meet team and individual goals.
- Apply knowledge of medical terminology (some training provided).
Required Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in typing (beyond basic familiarity; speed and accuracy are key).
- A minimum of two years of combined experience in a mailroom setting AND performing data entry, specifically within a healthcare environment or handling medical information/terminology. (e.g., experience processing medical claims, familiarity with patient demographics, understanding of medical service codes).
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work on-site in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore 5 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct experience processing medical, dental, or vision claims.
- Previous experience using the LuminX system.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Experience with scanning and document management.
