Overview
Our client is seeking a Project Manager to lead and oversee DER (Distributed Energy Resource) distribution interconnection projects. This role is designed for a professional who can navigate a fast-paced environment and manage the complexities of utility-scale construction and engineering initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring project milestones are met while maintaining a high level of technical accuracy and a proactive, questioning attitude toward project challenges
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of DER distribution interconnection projects.
- Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure project alignment and technical compliance.
- Maintain project schedules and deliverables in a high-speed, dynamic work environment.
- Foster a collaborative team environment to achieve distribution and interconnection goals.
- Apply a questioning attitude to identify potential risks and implement effective solutions
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5-10 years of professional experience.
- Proven background in the utility industry with specific experience in project management and engineering or construction.
- Must be eager and willing to learn, possess a questioning attitude, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Direct experience with solar energy projects.
- Specialized knowledge in DER (Distributed Energy Resource) distribution and interconnections.
