Location: Owings mills, MD (Remote)

Duration: 12 Months Contract to hire

Terms of Employment:

• W2 Contract-to-Hire; 12-Month
• 100% Remote (Must reside in DMV area)

Overview:

• Work with a leading organization’s Procurement and Sourcing team as a Senior Sourcing Associate. This role is designed for a high-performing, execution-focused professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. You will be responsible for managing a high volume of IT sourcing events, focusing on SaaS, Cloud, and Professional Services, ensuring speed and performance are maintained over time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end sourcing process for moderate to high-complexity IT requirements.
• Manage a concurrent workload of 5 or more sourcing actions, including RFPs, amendments, and new agreements.
• Lead negotiations for IT-related services, specifically focusing on SaaS and consulting agreements.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to interpret and define ambiguous or incomplete requirements.
• Maintain internal department metrics related to cycle time and lead time.
• Manage a portfolio of sourcing actions valued at approximately $50M - $55M annually.

Required Qualifications:

• 6 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
• Proven track record of owning (not just supporting) the full sourcing lifecycle.
• Specific experience sourcing IT categories: SaaS, Cloud, and Professional Services/Consulting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage at least 5 concurrent complex actions.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience leading the process against major vendors.
• Must reside in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia) area.
• Ability to work effectively in an environment with ambiguous or evolving requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing portfolios in excess of $50M.
• Background in private sector sourcing (preferred over purely federal/government contracting support roles).
• Experience with "Big Four" consulting or major SaaS vendor negotiations.
