Position Overview:
We are seeking a FICO Rules Engine Developer to play a pivotal role in a high-priority enterprise initiative. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented self-starter responsible for the design, development, and optimization of business rules within our care management platform, GuidingCare. This position requires leading collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver critical systems and data analysis, ensuring the successful completion of a key project deliverable scheduled for December 15, 2025. • Design, build, test, and deploy new business rules using the FICO Rules Engine embedded within the GuidingCare platform.
• Analyze and update existing rule sets, optimizing rule table design for enhanced performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Deliver critical systems and data analysis to inform rule logic and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement across the enterprise.
• Build, manage, and sustain critical systems by applying expert knowledge of business and data analysis techniques, methods, and tools.
• Lead and collaborate with cross-departmental and cross-functional team members, including business analysts, IT partners, and clinical stakeholders, to gather requirements and ensure project alignment.
• Own data collection capabilities related to rule execution and outcomes through effective collaboration with internal and external teams.
Required Qualifications:
• Expert, hands-on working knowledge of the FICO Rules Engine (Blaze Advisor).
• Demonstrated experience using the FICO Rules Engine specifically within the GuidingCare care management tool.
• Proven ability to design, build, and optimize complex business rule sets and decision tables.
• Strong working knowledge of the GuidingCare platform and its core functionalities.
• Experience in business systems analysis and data analysis.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and drive projects to completion.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and delivering high-quality work.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead discussions and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
