Job Description
The SAP BODS Consultant will play a key role in supporting data integration, optimization, and automation efforts within SAP environments. This role involves working with relational databases, Snowflake, and SAP data services tools while ensuring high performance and secure operations.
Must-Have Skills (3-5)
- 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration (focus on SCM systems).
- Strong understanding of SAP SCM Optimizer Server architecture and sizing methodologies.
- Experience with database optimization and server virtualization.
- Familiarity with SAP Message Server configuration and load balancing techniques.
Primary Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Proven experience as a BODS Developer/Engineer with a strong understanding of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS).
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Skilled in data modeling, schema design, and data profiling.
- Experience in building reconciliation reports using Information Steward.
- Python scripting experience.
- Exposure to SAP HANA, SAP BW, or other SAP products is a plus.
- Cloud integration using native connectors.
- Experience automating batch executions, handling data errors and server issues.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
