Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage and oversee inventory processes at a contractor site involved in fiber installation for WiFi infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring accurate inventory tracking and organization of materials such as splitters, construction materials, vaults, and markers used in the field.

The Inventory Specialist will not work in a traditional warehouse setting, but instead on-site at contractor locations-typically lots with buildings, some with small warehouses and dock doors. The ideal candidate will have experience working with high-volume, small-part inventories and will possess a continuous improvement mindset to help streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and maintain inventory of materials used by contractors for WiFi fiber installation projects.

• Label and place inventory in appropriate locations on the contractor site.

• Verify stock information and unit identification numbers.

• Unpackage, sort, and stage equipment and parts.

• Conduct routine inventory counts and audits in accordance with company policies.

• Maintain accurate and organized inventory records.

• Identify and pull key insights from large data sets.

• Work independently with minimal supervision.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in inventory management or warehouse operations preferred.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Proficient in basic computer skills; Excel knowledge is a plus.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Flexible schedule availability.
