• Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Role Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) will work in a Cardiology Office setting, providing patient care under the supervision of a Physician or patient care provider and the general direction of the Practice Manager. The RN delivers care in accordance with established professional nursing standards and organizational policies, supporting patients across all age groups from newborns to geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in an outpatient cardiology practice
• Assist physicians with patient evaluations and procedures
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
• Perform clinical documentation and data entry using PC/CRT systems
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care
• Maintain compliance with professional standards, policies, and procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and healthcare team members

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Active New York State RN License
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior cardiology experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical office or outpatient setting
• Experience with PC/CRT data entry systems
