Position Summary:
We are seeking an onsite Project Manager I to support and manage projects within a fast-paced healthcare or IT environment. The Project Manager I will work under direct supervision to manage small projects or individual phases of larger initiatives. This role requires strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage small projects or a defined phase of larger projects from initiation through delivery.
- Implement and maintain project plans; track and report on project performance, progress, and risks.
- Monitor timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate project risks and issues to minimize delays.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams and external contractors.
- Estimate project costs, resource needs, and timelines.
- Assign tasks and set priorities for project team members to meet project goals and milestones.
- Conduct regular project meetings and prepare progress reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, documentation standards, and client requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor//'s degree required; education verification must be provided at time of submission.
- 1–3 years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare, technology, or a related industry.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana).
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Basic understanding of budgeting, resource planning, and scheduling.
- Must be able to work full-time onsite at the Irving, TX location.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP), CAPM, or related certification preferred.
- Experience working in healthcare, managed care, or IT project environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
