Job Description (JD) Position Title: ASSOCIATE, INVENTORY CONTROL. FIELD DISTRIBUTION Employment Type: 1 Contractor Onsite position Location: Rialto, CA, United States, 92376 Shift : 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Mon to Fri) Summary On a day to day basis the temp will be responsible for- Plans and/or performs cycle counting, expired product processing, location audits and investigates/resolves variances, Participates in the annual physical inventory (Include Prep, Audits, Count, and Reconcile). Process completed MRB items, which includes stock, system transfers/updates, and product consolidation. Monitors personal and department emails and provides information regarding inventory availability and other related issues. Ensures inventory recordkeeping complies with document retention rules. Supports Lean/5S activities as assigned. Updates issue log. Performs other duties as assigned. Someone with Inventory Control experience would be successful in this role. Minimal physical effort required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing or carrying objects that typically with less than 50 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files, etc.) but could weigh significantly more (parts, complete copiers) Moderate dexterity - regular application of basic skills (calculator, keyboard, stapler) Responsibilities Responsible for the data entry and maintenance of all inventory product movement. First level support for inquiries regarding open order status. Position requires the ability to complete assigned tasks while also multi-tasking. Assists in updating Oracle on a daily basis to track the location, transfer and disposal of product. Monitors and scrubs weekly/monthly reporting for inventory management. Ensures all paperwork/updating is accurate as it progresses through system. Assists in the preparation and conducting of equipment cycle counts and physical inventories on a quarterly and annual basis as required. Reports to management areas of concern regarding issues within inventory control. Communicates with internal customers regarding status of open orders. Meets productivity/quality standards relative to responsibility as outlined by Manager. Performs other duties as assigned. Data entry and limited spreadsheet skills are required. Proficiency in MS Business Suite is required. Minimal physical effort required.
