Summary
The Area Customer Service Coordinator supports daily operations and service delivery for Managed Services accounts within a designated geographical area. This role requires traveling to multiple customer sites to assist with account management, service implementations, onboarding, and operational support. The position demands strong customer service skills, adaptability, the ability to handle fast-paced environments, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily operations for all contracted services at assigned customer accounts
Assist management with process improvement, procedural testing, and compliance with operational best practices
Support Field Implementation Managers with new account setups and service expansions
Onboard new team members and cross-train peers on site procedures
Develop, update, and verify accuracy of Site Procedure Guides
Perform daily visual inspections of service delivery and compliance with Ricoh and customer safety standards
Provide feedback to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
Stand in for absent or on-vacation onsite personnel as needed, including site management tasks
Travel between customer locations, delivering toner, mail, and other materials as required
Escalate customer issues to Enterprise Services Manager (ESM) or Area Operations Manager (AOM) and follow up to resolution
Maintain accurate reporting and submit monthly expenses according to company policies
Adhere to safety guidelines, including lifting items up to 50 lbs and walking between multiple buildings
Qualifications
High school diploma required; post-secondary education preferred
Minimum 12 months of related work experience
Valid, clean driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
Ability to travel up to 40-50 miles to cover multiple sites
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic software navigation
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handle change, and thrive under pressure
Basic math, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Physical Requirements
Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Occasional pushing/pulling of equipment up to 400 lbs
Moderate dexterity and hand-eye coordination required
Ability to work in office/warehouse environments with normal temperature, lighting, and noise levels
