At NRI Industrial Sales, safety is our priority. Our job sites have sanitation stations, and regular cleaning is undertaken to ensure the health of our workers. Employees are required to wear face masks or coverings, in compliance with Ohio State, and physical distancing is practiced in the workplace.

Position Summary
Keep shelves stocked with ready to list items. To ensure packages are picked, packaged and shipped in accordance with customer needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:

• Pack items for safe/damage free shipping to its final destination.
• Ensure the product to be shipped match quantities, destination, and delivery method.
• Handle customer pickups and returns.
• Ability to climb up and down ladders to pick inventory for up to 8 hours per day.
• Put away all QA'd items on racking shelves.
• Printing orders that need to be processed for that day's shipping.
• Utilize handheld scanners for picking inventory items ranging from 1-75 lbs.
• Proper and safe operation of all equipment needed to perform essential functions of the job: Forklifts, Standing Lifts, Rolling Ladders, Floor and desk scales, Banding equipment.
• Perform warehouse inventory handling and stocking
• Maintain NRI standards and clean workstation, promote warehouse safety
• Complete daily tasks assigned to you by supervisors and/or management

• Proficiency in MS Office applications

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

• Warehouse Environment, with some outdoor exposure during workday.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs. as often as needed.
• Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time.
• Routinely use standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, box cutters, hand-held tools, etc.
• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer.

Position Qualifications:

• Successful candidates must pass a background check
• Background check is a Mandatory part of the hiring process

Education:

• HS graduate or equivalent

Experience:

• 2 years of previous Shipping/Receiving/Packaging/Warehouse experience preferred.
• Inventory Handling & Stocking: 2 years (Preferred)
• Forklift: 2 Years experience (Required).
• Standup Reach Truck preferred.
• Basic power tool and hand tools experience preferred.
