We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This position requires a professional who can deliver high-quality clinical care in a secure correctional environment while demonstrating empathy, sound judgment, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with diverse medical needs, including general medical-surgical, emergency, and chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension).
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies in high-pressure situations.
- Perform and interpret TB skin tests, and assist in managing withdrawal symptoms and mental health crises.
- Administer medications accurately, maintain complete health records, and follow all clinical and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, correctional officers, and healthcare staff to ensure coordinated, compassionate care.
The following shifts are available:
- Monday - Friday: 3p-11:30p with rotating weekends
- Monday - Friday: 11p-7:30p with rotating weekends
- Monday - Friday: 7a-7p
