Job Summary:
The Purchasing Analyst is responsible for ensuring the timely purchase, delivery, and receipt of products to be used or sold externally. Applies purchasing principles and procedures to ensure that the right products are available at the right time, price, and quality.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
? Responsible for all day-to-day purchasing activities for external products
? Monitors, analyzes, and manages inventory levels as well as forecasts inventory needs
? Adjusts orders as needed including promotional, seasonal, and temporary products
? Collaborates with Retail and vendors to determine and fulfill promotional or seasonal product needs
? Identifies and communicates any aged, dead, or other inventory issues with leadership
? Assists Marketing team with campaign management and reporting
? Monitors and assesses third party products and recommends suppliers
? Liaises with vendors, coordinates procurement, and leads vendor onboarding processes
? Collaborates with vendors or suppliers and company teams to resolve procurement issues
? Conducts product review with Retail locations on a monthly basis
? Collaborates with the Finance team on accounts payable and reconciliation
? Assists with just-in-time and first-in-first-out processes
? Assists with inventory audits and order fulfillments
? Conducts order inspections for quality
? Assists with pricing negotiations
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
? 5 years of buyer experience
? Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
? Must hold or obtain a valid Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee Badge
? Proficiency using Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office programs including Gmail, Calendar Docs, Slides, Word, and Powerpoint
? Advanced Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel skills including developing charts, tables, and other advanced data functions
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Strong customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications:

A background involving employee training, warehousing and/or supporting a similar production facility with light equipment and manual labor is strongly preferred.
Physical Requirements:
? Remaining in a stationary position, standing and/or sitting for prolonged periods
? Ascending/descending ladders, stairs, ramps
? Ability to sit, stand, stoop, stretch, walk, bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive motions, and carry boxes or items
? Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs
? Ability to work in the same area as cannabis and have direct contact with cannabis material
