ABOUT THE POSITION
Elevated Industrial Solutions is hiring a Purchasing Specialist. The Purchasing Specialist can work anywhere within the Contiguous U.S. The position is responsible for managing replenishment and backorder inventory, conducting transactional purchasing to support the sales and operations team. This responsibility includes managing inventory, pricing, delivery, shortages, and product damages. Our ideal candidate has a minimum of two (2) years purchasing experience, ERP experience, strong critical thinking, and attention to detail. The Purchasing Specialist will report to the Vice President of Operations.
WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS ROLE
Manage replenishment and backorder inventory using min-max, OP/OQ and maximize return on inventory.
Conduct transactional purchasing to support the organization.
Resolve issues related to pricing, delivery, shortages, and damages by working with suppliers, Warehouse, Customer Support, Sales and Accounts Payable.
Track and expedite inbound and outbound shipments.
Manage and communicate product availability.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two (2) years Purchasing experience or equivalent work experience required.
- ERP experience required.
- Associate Degree, preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate within established processes and guidelines while being a proponent of organizational change.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solver.
- Skilled at managing cross-functional projects.
- Ability to adjust and respond to shifting priorities.

Pay: $27.00 - $31.00 per hour
