Aftermarket Business Development Manager
Location: Kalamazoo, MI (Onsite) | Relocation Available
Salary: $150K–$170K 17.5% Bonus 25 Days PTO
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive aftermarket growth for commercial and military aerospace product lines within the Commercial Flight Control and Hydraulic Systems divisions. This role is responsible for revenue growth, product line strategy, customer engagement, contract negotiations, and annual business planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute aftermarket growth strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Manage customer relationships, pricing, contract negotiations, repairs, spares, and service offerings.
- Partner with sales, operations, engineering, and regional teams to identify and capture new business opportunities.
- Develop sales forecasts, annual operating plans, and portfolio optimization strategies.
- Conduct market analysis, competitive research, and identify emerging customer needs and industry trends.
- Lead business case development for new products, retrofit programs, and service solutions.
- Support proposal development, contract renewals, and long-term customer agreements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 10 years of business development, product line management, program management, or aerospace aftermarket experience.
- 5 years managing major customer accounts, revenue-generating programs, or strategic initiatives.
- Strong aerospace, commercial aviation, military aviation, MRO, aftermarket services, contracts, and customer relationship management experience preferred.
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
