- Perform MRI procedures with high quality, care, and timeliness
- Escort patients to dressing rooms and procedure room
- Explain MRI procedures and answer patient questions or concerns
- Maintain and follow all MRI safety guidelines
- Complete related paperwork
- Administer I.V. contrast
- Conduct Quality Control and monitor machine/equipment, reporting malfunctions
- Associate Degree or equivalent 2-year college or technical school
- 6-12 months experience and/or training preferred
- ARRT (R) certification required
- ARRT (R)(MRI) certification preferred
- Ability to communicate and engage effectively with physicians and patients
- Technical and physical strength necessary to operate the scanner
