Description

• We are seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist for a full-time position in Fairfield, CT.
• This role involves conducting MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining equipment.
• The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to assist with special procedures. Candidates should be familiar with general imaging technologies.
  
  

Requirements

• Perform MRI procedures with high quality and care.
• Escort patients to dressing and procedure rooms.
• Explain MRI procedures and address patient questions.
• Maintain and adhere to MRI safety guidelines.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation.
• Administer I.V. contrast when required.
• Monitor equipment and report malfunctions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or equivalent 2-year college or technical school.
• 6-12 months of experience and/or training preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• ARRT (R)(MRI) certification preferred.
