- Be involved in all aspects of practice, including pre-complaint investigations, case analysis, strategy drafting, and responding to discovery.
- Take and defend depositions, handle motions and other court appearances.
- Manage administrative matters before various state and federal agencies.
- Run day-to-day aspects of arbitration and trials, mediations, advise and counseling.
- Conduct legal research and writing on a wide variety of areas.
- Engage in single-plaintiff EEO, PAGA, and other class/collective action litigation.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in employment law defense litigation in California.
- Class/collective action experience is preferable.
- Highly motivated and responsive with excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Value a collaborative team environment and be prepared to work independently.
- Assume significant responsibilities.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Juris Doctor degree.
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of California.
- Must have a California bar license.
- Meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
