POSITION SUMMARY:
Position is responsible for effective planning, coordinating and directing activities of the production department to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality and safety standards. Accountable for establishing a collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and motivates employees to perform at the highest level.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Execute daily production schedules and prioritize workflow based on production and delivery needs.
• Coordinate with operations, planning, quality, and technical teams to ensure efficient production.
• Schedule batches based on material availability, staffing, and capacity.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
• Ensure equipment readiness and maintain compliance with safety and environmental policies.
• Train, coach, and monitor employees to ensure safe work practices and strong performance.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, abnormalities, and safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate training, compliance, and employee performance documentation.
• Communicate equipment maintenance needs and support continuous operations.
• Partner with Quality Control to meet customer specifications and support quality decisions.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor Degree preferred or 3 years of experience in manufacturing operations. Basic knowledge and experience in production of chemical products.
SALARY RANGE:
- $27.61 to $42.05 an hour. Compensation for this role is negotiable based on experience and skill set.
Additional Competencies:
• Working knowledge of ISO/TS standards and compliance requirements.
• Understanding of automotive industry standards and expectations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build credibility and maintain respect with employees.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
