This role requires a leader who drives proactive financial strategy aligned with quality care and long-term stability.ResponsibilitiesLead all financial operations across multi-state skilled nursing facilities, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.Ensure clear, effective communication with finance teams, executive leadership, ownership, and HUD stakeholders.Drive strategic financial planning to optimize performance, improve efficiency, and support sustainable growth.Ensure compliance with GAAP, HUD financing requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.Oversee cost reporting, reimbursement processes, and financial submissions related to skilled nursing operations.Strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and reporting processes to support scalability, accuracy, and transparency.Partner with operations leadership to evaluate facility-level performance, improve margins, and implement corrective action plans.Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support day-to-day operations and long-term strategic investments.Lead annual budgeting and long-range financial planning aligned with operational and clinical priorities.Support mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, including due diligence, transaction execution, integration, and post-transaction optimization.Serve as a strategic advisor to ownership and executive leadership, delivering data-driven insights on financial risks, opportunities, and performance trends.Demonstrate integrity, discretion, and accountability in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.Lead HUD-related financing activities, including refinancing, bridge-to-HUD transactions, rate locks, and lender coordination.Maintain industry expertise through periodic travel and participation in key industry conferences and regulatory forums (e.g., NIC, CAHF/ECAP Summit).Oversee reimbursement and refinance strategy, including AB 186 medical rate negotiations, managed care contracting, and payer collaboration.Qualifications (Required)Healthcare finance experienceExperience with revenues 100M Accountability - ownership of responsibilities and follow-through on commitmentsAmbition - Drive for growth.Vision - Anticipate future challenges and opportunities.Clear & honest Communication - communicate directly and respectfullySincere passionate care – lead with a service mindsetSelf Starter – Self accountability/reliance.
