This is a full-time, on-site role in Durham, NC, for a Mortgage Loan Officer. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting clients with the mortgage application process, evaluating financial information, and recommending appropriate loan products. Key tasks include collaborating with underwriters, ensuring compliance with lending regulations, maintaining strong client relationships, and proactively managing the end-to-end mortgage lending process to achieve client satisfaction and business growth.
- Experience with Mortgage Lending, Loan Officers, and the Mortgage Industry
- Familiarity with Underwriting principles and processes
- Strong Customer Service skills with an emphasis on effective communication and relationship-building
- Proficiency in leveraging technology and tools for loan management and compliance
- Demonstrated knowledge of FHA, VA, conventional, and niche loan products is preferred
- Proven ability to meet sales goals and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is beneficial
- Valid licensing and registration as required under NMLS
