Who are we?

Since 2015, Nevada Behavioral Health Systems (NBH) has been providing mental health and substance abuse services to residents across Nevada. By collaborating with a diverse network of experienced behavioral healthcare providers, we have built a community-based care system that offers members personalized options tailored to their individual needs. In 2023, we rebranded as Novum/Health with the expansion of our services in Arizona, California, and Utah.

Position: Guest Facilities Tech

Schedule: Morning Shift (5:30 am – 2:00 pm)

Location: Las Vegas, NV – Onsite (This role is not eligible for Remote or Hybrid)

Starting Salary Range: $17 per hour

The starting salary range for this role is a reasonable estimate, with a goal to pay a competitive market salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education and certification, skills, and internal pay equity.

The Guest Facilities Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall upkeep of the Courtyard Homeless Resource Center. This role ensures that the facility provides a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of all common areas, restrooms, and guest spaces.
• Ensure proper disposal of trash and waste, following sanitation and safety protocols.
• Restock supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and other essential items in restrooms and guest areas.
• Assist with maintaining outdoor areas, including sweeping, pressure washing, and trash removal.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Respond to spills, biohazards, and other unsanitary conditions promptly and appropriately.
• Collaborate with security and case management teams to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of events, including moving furniture and equipment.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
• Provide courteous and respectful interactions with guests while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the operations of the Courtyard.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Comfortable working in a homeless services setting with diverse populations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
