Mechanical Engineer

Title: Mechanical Engineer (onsite coordinator)

Location: Pawcatuck, Connecticut (onsite only)

Experience required: 7– 10 years

Pay Rate:$43-48/Hr W2

Mandatory Skills:

• 6 years of experience as a Mechanical engineer with SolidWorks CAD design
• 4 years of strong experience in Plastics Extrusion & Converting
• Strong manufacturing documentation and BOM experience
• Experience with PDM/PLM
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent machine projects
• Communication and coordination: Works effectively and communicates with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
• Engineer-to-Order (ETO) machinery experience
• Able to contribute with minimal onboarding
• Strong manufacturing documentation and BOM experience
• Experience supporting multiple concurrent machine projects
• Works effectively with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams

Must Have

• Plastics Extrusion & Converting
• Custom/ETO Machinery & Equipment Manufacturing
• Focus: Connecticut, especially Pawcatuck / Southeastern CT

Preferred

• Packaging Machinery
• Film/Sheet Extrusion
• Industrial Machinery
• Nearby RI, MA, NY, NJ candidates willing to commute/relocate

Nice to Have

• Injection Molding / Plastics Processing
• Web Handling Equipment
• Automation/Material Handling Machinery

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering preferred
• 7–10 yrs overall
• 6 yrs Mechanical Engineering
• 4 yrs Plastics Extrusion & Converting
