The Role & Your Impact
As Lead Operator – Blending (2nd Shift), you will take an active role in operating and maintaining blending equipment while supporting and guiding team members during daily production. This is a hands‑on, operational role where quality, safety, and teamwork are essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safely operating blending equipment and performing basic troubleshooting to maintain production flow.
- Supporting and guiding team members by clarifying expectations and daily routines on the production floor.
- Disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling machines according to established procedures.
- Accurately completing and reviewing all required production documentation.
- Ensuring products meet quality standards by following batch recipes, formulations, and GMP requirements.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating and troubleshooting mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation/Production Practices (GDP).
- Lock Out Tag Out experience or willingness to follow LOTO procedures.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to reprioritize tasks throughout the shift to meet production demands.
- Experience coaching or supporting peers on the production floor.
- Comfort speaking up about safety, quality, or process improvements.
- Interest in continuous improvement and contributing ideas to improve workflows.
- A collaborative and safety‑focused manufacturing environment.

- Shift pattern: 4 × 10‑hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM.
- Location: On‑site in Wausau, WI.
- Overtime: Available but not required.
- Work environment: Manufacturing setting, climate controlled.
- Physical demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for up to 10 hours per shift.
- Hourly rate: $25.00 per hour plus shift premium.
