The Production Lead will lead their assigned team to perform all production related activities while aligning with the company Mission, Vision and Core Values. To perform their role effectively, Production Leads are expected to have strong leadership skills; they are expected to be able to direct, coach, correct and motivate the members of their team to achieve efficiency. The Production Lead reports directly to the Production Supervisor. This position works Monday-Thursday with hours of 2:30pm-12:30am.
In this role you'll make an impact by:
- Performing all job requirements in a safe manner using the required PPE and being a safety role model to co-workers.
- Reporting and addressing unsafe behaviors or equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
- Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping of work area.
- Demonstrating Lock-Out/Tag-Out compliance
- Basic understanding of Dietary Supplement Regulations.
- Responsible for their team's GMP and Food Safety compliance.
- Proactively leading team to eliminate unnecessary downtime.
- Providing daily working guidance and direction to assigned team to ensure that manufacturing of items are carried out efficiently and with strict adherence to quality standards.
- A positive pro-company can-do attitude.
- Working with Production Supervisor for team member development, feedback, and reviews.
- Operating equipment within the assigned area when needed.
- Assure team is following SOPs and SWs.
- Maintain 5S
- Assure team accurately prints and completes production records.
- Training is being completed by the team on time
- Attend daily meeting and share items from the meeting to your team.
- Support continuous improvement process within their team.
- Other duties as assigned
To succeed you must hold:
- The appropriate knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position are achievable through the following combination of education, work experience and training.
- High School Diploma along with 1 year of relevantwork experience in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing facility.
- Be able to work within established routines, methods, and procedures under very strict management parameters.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player in a diverse work group.
- Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs, and cGMP guidelines.
- Complies with company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.
Location: Wausau, WI (On-Site)

Expected salary range:$25 an hour plus shift premium
