Due to an expansion in production capability at our West Allis, WI site, we are strengthening our Health & Safety function to continue building a safe, compliant, and proactive working environment where everyone can thrive.The Role & Your ImpactAs a Health & Safety Specialist, you will play a key operational role in implementing health and safety programs and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements. With a strong focus on execution, you will work closely with site leadership and frontline teams to prevent incidents, investigate root causes, and promote a strong safety culture.Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing health and safety programs to support a safe manufacturing environment.
- Conducting safety training in line with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies.
- Leading incident investigations and supporting corrective and preventive actions.
- Conducting and maintaining job hazard analyses.
- Assisting with industrial hygiene surveys and employee programs such as fire prevention, emergency response, evacuation planning, and ergonomics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety or a related technical field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in a technical or manufacturing setting.
- Working knowledge of applicable standards and frameworks, including OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and related regulations.
- Strong time management and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills in English.
- Professional certifications such as CSP, ARM, ALCH, or CIH.
- Experience supporting industrial hygiene programs or ergonomics initiatives.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement in safety practices.
- This role is office-based at our West Allis, WI site.
- Regular interaction with production and operations areas is expected.
- Travel is approximately 10%, primarily related to training or site support activities.
- Expected base salary: USD $70,000–$80,000, depending on experience.
- 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution
- Minimum of 3 weeks of vacation plus 12 holidays and 2 weeks of Wellness Time
