Material Handler TX

Position Summary
Material Handler - Bander will be responsible to band material and prepare for staging and shipping. They will need to have great attention to detail and the ability to work within set timelines. The Material Handler - Bander will need to demonstrate the ability to work safely and efficiently to ensure is safe for transport.

• Ensures all orders are organized, leveled, and tightly built for transport.
• Bands material, safely using equipment provided to secure materials for shipment.
• Labels banded carts ensuring accuracy of units, destination, handler, etc.
• Sustains a clean work area by sweeping, rebinding loose bundles, keeps dust collector clean, etc. to prepare for the next shift.
• Communicates any discrepancies, product issues or safety issues with Supervisor.
• Complies with all company policies and procedures.
• May be required to successfully pass PIT training while following all safety requirements established within Novo.
• Performs other duties as assigned
