Position Overview:
The Head of Quality will lead the entire Quality department and serve as the senior authority on quality, compliance, and audit readiness across the organization. This role is critical to ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining a strong audit posture, and embedding a culture of quality as the company continues to grow. The ideal candidate will be a hands on leader with deep experience in regulated manufacturing environments, comfortable operating both strategically and operationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own full responsibility for the Quality function, including QA, QC, and quality systems
- Act as the primary point of contact for regulatory and customer audits, ensuring full audit readiness at all times
- Establish, maintain, and continuously improve quality systems in line with cGMP, FDA, and relevant industry standards
- Partner cross functionally with Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and Leadership to integrate quality into all processes and new initiatives
- Drive CAPA, deviation management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure documentation control, change management, and validation activities are robust and compliant
- Monitor quality metrics and KPIs, using data to proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Support the organization through growth, new products, and increasing regulatory complexity
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience leading Quality within a regulated manufacturing environment, such as personal care, cosmetics, OTC, food, or related consumer products
- Strong background in FDA regulations, cGMP, and audit management, with a track record of successful regulatory and customer audits
- Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and scale Quality teams in a growing organization
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communicator, able to influence cross functional stakeholders and senior leadership
