Project Manager

Novaris Search is partnered with a fast growing, US based contract manufacturer serving premium and masstige beauty brands across skincare, cosmetics and colour cosmetics. This organization supports clients end to end, from early stage formulation and product development through scale up and commercial manufacturing, and is known for its agile, customer centric and entrepreneurial approach.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking a dynamic Project/Product Development Manager to sit at the intersection of Project Management and Product Development. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple moving parts, working directly with customers, and driving products from concept through launch in a high pace contract manufacturing environment.

This is a high visibility position with direct impact on client success, internal execution and long term partnerships. The right candidate will not only manage timelines and deliverables, but will actively contribute to problem solving, innovation and process improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent client projects across skincare, cosmetics and colour cosmetics, from initial concept through commercialization
• Act as the primary point of coordination between customers and internal teams including R&D, formulation, packaging, regulatory, operations, procurement and quality
• Support and contribute to product development activities, including formulation timelines, sample progression, revisions and scale up readiness
• Own project plans, milestones, timelines and critical path activities, proactively identifying risks and driving solutions
• Partner closely with commercial and customer facing teams to ensure alignment on scope, expectations, timelines and deliverables
• Drive accountability across cross functional teams in a matrix environment without relying solely on formal authority
• Ensure projects are executed efficiently while maintaining quality, compliance and customer satisfaction
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping refine project management and product development processes as the business scales

Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in project management and or product development within a manufacturing, CPG or contract manufacturing environment preferred
• Hands on experience supporting new product development and commercialization in beauty, skincare or cosmetics strongly desired
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work autonomously, take ownership and adapt as priorities evolve
• Strong organizational, prioritization and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between commercial, technical and operational stakeholders
• Comfortable operating in an evolving organization where processes are continuously being built and refined
• Customer focused, proactive and solutions oriented approach
