This role will handle day-to-day HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and policy development to support the organization’s mission and goals. The role can start out as part-time for those still in school.

Recruitment & Onboarding
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers.
- Conduct new-hire orientations and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and support employee engagement initiatives.
- Manage employee benefits enrollment, changes, and communications.
- Work with vendors to address employee benefits questions and issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
- Support audits and prepare reports as required.
- Assist managers with performance review processes and coaching.
- Coordinate training and development opportunities for employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HRIS.
- Prepare HR metrics and reports for leadership as needed.
Skills and Competencies-
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Graduating Senior or up to 4 years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity.
- Experience with Paylocity HRIS
- Human resource certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) highly desired.
- Must be able to work in-office at the Provo location
