Essential Responsibilities
Workday System Administration & Optimization
- Administer and optimize Workday modules including Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning Management, Scheduling, and Advanced Compensation
- Maintain system integrity, functionality, and performance across HR technology platforms
- Configure and optimize business processes, security roles, reporting structures, workflows, and organizational hierarchies
- Manage Workday releases, updates, testing, and enhancement activities
- Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with stakeholders and external vendors
- Partner with leadership to align HR systems with organizational strategy and objectives
- Drive HR technology best practices and enterprise process consistency
- Identify opportunities for automation, operational efficiency, and improved employee experience
- Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, compensation, and employee development initiatives through systems optimization
- Develop and maintain HR reporting, dashboards, and analytics capabilities
- Provide actionable insights including headcount reporting, compensation analytics, learning compliance, workforce trends, and operational HR metrics
- Support compliance, audit, and regulatory reporting through accurate and timely data management
- Lead HRIS-related implementation projects, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives
- Manage organizational change activities related to systems, workflows, and process improvements
- Develop user training, process documentation, and support materials as needed
- Coordinate testing, validation, and deployment activities for new functionality
- Serve as liaison between HR, IT, operations, and third-party vendors
- Partner with consultants and implementation partners on enhancements and issue resolution
- Ensure systems and configurations support operational, compliance, and regulatory requirements across the organization
- Reports to Human Resources leadership
- Functions as the enterprise subject matter expert for HRIS and Workday administration
- Partners closely with HR, Finance, IT, Payroll, Operations, and executive leadership
- Opportunity to influence systems strategy, workforce analytics, and digital transformation initiatives
- Exposure to large-scale operational, workforce, and systems optimization projects
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in human resources, information technology, computer science, or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of HRIS implementation and administration experience required
- Strong hands-on Workday administration experience required
- Experience supporting complex, multi-functional operational environments preferred
- Experience leading system enhancements, upgrades, or implementation projects preferred

- Strong proficiency with Workday reporting tools, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), SQL databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and HR reporting and analytics tools
- Strong systems troubleshooting and analytical capabilities
- Ability to interpret and translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
