The Scheduling Coordinator is the Director of First Impressions whose primary responsibility is to sweep patients off their feet by ensuring a comfortable, warm and efficient patient experience. Our practice provides top level patient service at every interaction, and our standards are high.
The Scheduling Coordinator is the Central Command Station of a busy orthodontic practice and must be able to manage multiple administrative tasks, a stellar patient experience all while maintaining an efficient and full schedule.

Schedule: 4-Day Work Week!
Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients with enthusiasm.
Create, manage, and optimize the daily schedule.
Schedule appointments for new patients and next visits.
Verify patient paperwork.
Confirm patient appointments by phone, text, or email templates.
Monitor the flow of patients and adjust the schedule as needed to optimize Doctor and patient time most effectively.
Answer and field patient phone calls.
Assist with practice referrals, correspondence, and various other admin duties in support of the Office Manager and Doctors.
Communicate clearly about appointment types, expected visit length, and any special requirements.
Maintain tidy and welcoming front desk and waiting area
Assist with daily schedule reports and front office checklists
Team Collaboration
Communicate schedule changes to clinical team in real time
Work closely with Treatment Coordinators, Assistants, and the Doctor to ensure an efficient day
Support office projects, events, and team activities as needed
Skills & Qualifications
Previous dental or orthodontic front desk experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Comfortable with computer scheduling software
Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
Reliable team player with strong problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, and move around the office throughout the day
Ability to use a computer, phone, and office equipment
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs (occasional supply boxes)
Work Environment
Fast-paced orthodontic clinical setting
Frequent interaction with children, teens, and parents

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
