Description:
We are seeking an Entry-Level Data Analyst to support reporting, business intelligence, and operational analytics within the data strategy group. This role is ideal for early-career professionals looking to grow within financial services analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean, and validate data from various financial platforms and systems.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to monitor key business metrics and KPIs.
- Analyse operational and performance trends to identify areas for efficiency improvement and process optimization.
- Support senior analysts in creating reports, insights, and presentation materials for leadership and management teams.
- Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to assist with business planning and strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems.
- Maintain proper documentation of workflows, SQL queries, and data sources for future reference and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Excel and working knowledge of Power BI or Tableau.
- Basic understanding of SQL and experience querying relational databases.
- Strong analytical thinking with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Skills:
